This is a small container near a horse pasture.
At the fence line, you may see a couple of friendly horses and signs on the fence telling about the horses, so read the signs. Bring fresh sliced apples or carrots, in case the horses are at the fence, if you would like to give them a snack. Bring the food in a sealed container in case of no horses.
Situated on Fayette County's newest and largest reservoir, Lake Horton Park covers 82 acres and offers paved walking trails, boat ramps, picnic areas, and fishing. Look for deer, wading birds, and other wildlife. Open from dawn to dusk. All vehicles with a Non-Fayette County tag must display an annual pass for admission. The basic Official Geocaching App shows only the caches that are very easy. But there are more caches in this park, they're “Advanced” (shown as grey circles in The App), but as a Basic Member, you can find and log them. Using a web browser, you may visit the Geocaching.com web site and make a note of cache coordinate “Waypoints”. These Advanced caches are a little tougher to find. So when you're ready for the next level, try this in the Official Geocaching App:
While "navigating" to any cache, you can add a new waypoint to any coordinates you see on Geocaching.com, and go. Check that cache size and the Terrain and Difficulty rating to be sure you're prepared. Watch out, it could become a real adventure!
