This cache is on the Speargrass Creek Route, the track joins the Robert Ridge about half an hour before Angelus Hut or the Speargrass Track 200 metres before Speargrass Hut. Either way you are looking at a walk of at least 4-6 hours to get here. If you are coming down off the ridge the chances are you will have wet feet by now as you cross the creek a number of times, if you are coming up from Speargrass you will have muddy feet as it can get quite muddy between Speargrass Hut and here but dont worry you will be able to wash them as you climb up to the ridge. It was pretty good when I was here.
The cache is on the edge of the tree line, it should be reasonably sheltered by the trees from snow.
