Cottonwood Cleanup Cache In Trash Out® Event

This CITO is in conjunction with the semiannual city-wide cleanup of Casa Grande, usually held in April and October. To participate requires groups to be officially registered with the city for Adopt a Highway type activity. Since we are not, we have been officially assigned and accepted as helpers to the group from Villas By Mary T, the official guardians for this Cottonwood section. The coords given are for the Mary T Clubhouse, where we will be issued name tags and safety vests, then grab a bag and get busy. Use the designated parking area to avoid congestion at the clubhouse. We will be working along both sides of a section of Cottonwood Lane between Colorado and Trekell. Be sure to bring your favorite pick-up stick, gloves, water, sun screen, and hat. When work is done, we are invited to participate in a free breakfast at the brand new Community Recreation Center. Please sign up as early as possible and note in your "Will Attend" log if you will be staying for the breakfast; it's important for the organizers to know how many to plan for.
