Geocache Description:

Based on the series by Chas49 and with permission I bring you an Artwalks cache, again.

This artwalk takes in two pieces of public art in Campbell Park plus an area of contemplation, the posted co-ordinates are for the first art piece where the first clue can be found. You may wish to combine this cache with another of mine with a similar theme as you will pass by Artworks where clues can be found.

The cache is NOT AT THE PUBLISHED CO-ORDINATES but hidden a short distance from the final waymark, solve the clues below to find the final location.

Posted Co-ordinates - Cave by Ivan and Heather Morrison is a rleatively newer piece if artwork in the Park. There is a metal information board by the gate before the artworks and looking down over the Park. Read it to find the numbers shown as letters below.

The artwork was commisisoned in 201A.

The artwork is made up of B leaning concrete panels.

Next move onto Stage 2 which is Armillary Sphere by Justin Tunley (if you have done my caches before then you will already know this Artwork!).

The Stage 2 co-ordinates are for the metal information board however you are welcome to enjoy the Artwork and the maze around it. Read the board to find the number shown as a letter below.

The artwork was designed in 199C.

Next move to Stage 3 which is an information board describing all of the Artworks in Campbell Park.

There are D pieces of artwork decribed on this board and shown as stars on the map in the top right hand corner.

Finally move to Stage 4 which is slight walk down the hill. You will pass by 2 or 3 other pieces of artwork on the way. This area is a place for quiet contemplation and rememberance. You are looking for a memorial plaque on the ground for the Scarlet Oak.

This Oak was planted on 1Eth May 1990.

The cache, which is a short walk from here, can be found at N52 02.DC(B-A) W0 44.C(B-A)(D-A).

Please be careful with the cache, it is too small ideally for SWAG or TB’s, you will need a pen(cil), log is in waterproof bag. FTF just gets the glory as always! Please be VERY CAREFUL as you retrieve it, it is designed to be hidden in particular way/location so its design is unique and so you may need to think about how you get it out from and back into its hiding place.
