Fly into the Geocaching NSW CITO to help celebrate this year’s International CITO month by lending a hand to clean up part of Ropes Creek at Whalan. By participating in this event you’ll earn the CITO souvenir for 2019.
This year will be a more traditional clean-up event where we’ll clean up rubbish from the bush and the banks of the creek.
The reserve was once the site of the Mount Druitt Aerodrome during World War II and is now located within the Blacktown Council LGA. There’s plenty of parking with entry from Debrincat Ave. Just look for the GCNSW team with the gazebo and banner.
Attendees should wear sturdy closed toe shoes, gloves and sun protection. Don’t forget drinking water and insect repellent too.
We will supply garbage bags.
