Bryan East Hospital has many facets on its campus. It houses the main hospital, the women and children's tower, a nursing school, a daycare for employee's children, Bryan Heart, Outpatient and offices, and the 5055 building, for women's care. Of course there is also Fairview, the home of the namesake William Jennings Bryan. A great orator and politician, he gave his house, built in 1902, and 10 acres to the Nebraska Methodist Conference for use as a hospital. The "fair view" was of the capitol and can no longer be seen from the house. There are a few offices in the house, and it was listed as a historic landmark in 1963, but tours of the museum part are available by appointment. You may want to check out the museum while you are in the area.
You may also see me if you are at the right time. I park in this lot for work. However, stay on the south side of the fence. They do patrol the parking lots to make sure people are where they are suppose to be.
