Geocache Description:


The exceptional Kabeljous Nature Reserve is situated near Jeffreys Bay, in the Eastern Cape. It offers all visitors a pristine 2.5-kilometer coastline complete with forests, wetlands and bushveld. The reserve is a hiker’s haven with various hikes available stretching from three to seven kilometers. There is no wet or dry season, but the high rainfall months are over spring and autumn. Discover an array of wildlife which includes grysbok, bushbuck, mongoose, caracal, duiker, bush pig and approximately 100 bird species. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the splendor that the Kabeljous Nature Reserve has to offer. The Kabeljous Nature Reserve has a hiking trail of either 3 or 7 kilometers depending on the options you take.
