This is another of our "Winter Friendly" series, which are designed to be easy walking in all weathers. We love caching all year round, but we don't much care for sloshing about in mud, and this series should be mud-free, being entirely on small country lanes around Aston Cantlow, Haselor and Walcote.
The series is dedicated to our new Campervan "Nora", and we set the series out while giving her a first night out - hence NFN = Nora's First Night.
NOTE: In extremely wet weather, the road may flood near to cache NFN-9 "Prepare to Wade"
The series is a small loop of around 2.8 miles, though you could easily extend it by taking in nearby caches in Haselor and Walcote. We found a good parking place close to one corner of the loop, so we have numbered the caches from there, but one could as easily start the series from Delta68's Resuscitator cache which has parking for 2-3 cars.
This first cache is a film canister securely fastened so you need to open it in situ and extract the log to sign.
