The Me? No! series of puzzle caches is done by the cacher Stoke Bunnies.
Firebird71 and myself have found a few of them on our travels in the past and we’ve solved most of them too. This one has come about because during our last trip away, whilst we were searching for one of them, Firebird71 found the original container in the area where our coordinates were indicating.
Unbeknownst to either of us, the coordinates had been changed and the new container put in place, so we were a bit perplexed at first as to our signatures being under one set of names, when others had found it since them. This is a valuable lesson in itself to keep an eye on solved puzzle logs, to see if there have been any changes.
Anyway, I made a comment which I said about in my log, which was wouldn’t it be nice if we used the container to hide a Me? No! cache in Cornwall. The CO, who had read my log, then contacted me to say that we could indeed do just that. And here we are.
So all you need to do is solve the puzzle. It’s not at the headline coordinates.
The puzzle:
This character is a samurai, who was taught by a lone traveller.
He got himself into trouble stealing a dying soldier's wakizashi.
He was saved from punishment by a Lord who he would go on to serve, and become personal bodyguard to.
So simply, who am I?
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
