I have been meaning to hide a cache near the entry to Strathnairn ever since I noticed another one in the vicinity had been archived ... I was out here today, and remembered about it, and spotted a good hiding spot ... and I had a ready to go cache with some crochet camo in among my geocaching stuff in the car, so I finally got around to hiding one here - lol Probably a good thing I didn't hide one when I was first planning to - with all the construction in the area, I am not sure the spot I was planning to hide it still exists, and the entry has since moved ... although it may move again (in which case the name, which just kind of popped into my head as I was wandering over the road to find a hiding spot, will fit even better... I think... )
I sometimes drive past here to go walking from Shepherds lookout along the trail to Uriarra crossing, and I sometimes come out to look at Art exhibitions, and I have been known to spend a while wandering around looking at the artist studios and assorted strange sculptures. Also, if you have not already found them - you can go for a walk around the area and find a few other caches.
At the moment, the best place to park is probably on the area of gravel on the other side of Stockdill drive (and as you are walking back to your car, you might notice that you can see Black Mountain Tower ... but not much at all of Black Mountain - lol)
