There are all sorts of places that information to solve a puzzle could be found, and tools available to get those elusive final corrdinate
Although it is possible to accidently find the final location by chance, it is usual that each puzzle will be solved before you head out to get a smilie. Many are straight forward, while others require what seem to be gigabytes of storage on your harddrive before you come up trumps.
Some cachers tell stories about llamas, alpacas and sheep!
Sometimes the answer is in the white space - it is simply white text on white background that you need to highlight to reveal - click and drag past the space to reveal. Try it here:
Or it could be red text on red background
The information you need could be hidden in the html comments. How to see this varies from browser to browser. Once you have the source code showing, search for LongDescription
Sometimes a nearby archived cache page might send your brain in the right direction.
Some cache owners use codes that you need to identify then decrypt. Careful here as sometimes things display differently on your mobile device.
Another way is to highlight key words in some way - flighty for instance.
An important thing to remember is that the final location for the puzzle can be up to 3.1km away from the posted coordinates. For this puzzle it means that you could be looking as for north as Carmichael Road, SW to Livingston Road off SH99, but not as far SE as Bickley Road. Thats a LOT of possible hiding places. If you know your maths thats π x 3.1 x 3.1 or 30.190705401km2 or 30190705.401m2 - that's 3 354 522 3mx3m blocks!
