Petaling Street JIGSAW
This cache is hidden at the edge of China Town in Kuala Lumpur.
We have been visiting Kuala Lumpur for 20 years and we always stay near Petaling Street. To celebrate our “anniversary”, we have placed a cache in this area.
China Town is dominated by the shops and food stalls of Petaling Street (Jalan Petaling). In the evening you can see the vendors with their market stalls on wheels in this street. The surrounding streets are equally charming and cozy.
The first Puzzle is the entrance of Petaling Street and also the point of the original coordinates of this mystery cache.
There are a lot of Chinese inhabitants and salesmen. Besides them there are a lot of Indian and Tamil tradespeople. They have their own temples.
The second puzzle is the entrance of the Sri Mahamariamman temple. A beautiful piece of art.
Of course, China Town is more than these two examples. You can see it by walking through the streets. The best start is at the original coordinates of this cache. Don’t forget to search for other caches in the neighbourhood!
To find the coordinates, you will have to solve two JIGSAW puzzles. One for the Northern coordinates and another for the Eastern coordinates. Both puzzles have 40 pieces. They can be solved on your mobile device, but it needs some patience.

Petaling Street JIGSAW
Deze cache ligt aan de rand van China Town in Kuala Lumpur.
Wij komen al 20 jaar in Kuala Lumpur en maken steeds gebruik van een hotel vlakbij Petaling Street. Nu wij ook al twee jaar Geocachen vinden wij het leuk om hier een cache te leggen.
China Town wordt gedomineerd door Petaling Street (Jalan Petaling) met zijn winkeltjes en eettentjes en ’s avonds de verkopers die hun waren uitstallen in verrijdbare marktkramen. Maar ook in de straten er omheen is het een drukte en gezelligheid.
De eerste puzzel is de ingang van Petaling Street en ook de plek van de originele coördinaten van deze Mystery liggen.
Behalve de Chinese bewoners en handelslieden wonen en werken hier ook veel Indiërs en Tamils. Die hier net als de Chinezen hun eigen tempels hebben. De tweede jigsaw puzzel gaat dan ook over de poort van de Sri Mahamariamman-tempel. Een prachtig stukje architectuur.
Natuurlijk is er in China Town veel meer te beleven. Je kunt beginnen bij het oorspronkelijk coördinaat van deze cache. Vergeet niet te zoeken naar de cache Suparman in China Town (GC6CG7Y ). Er liggen nog meer caches in de buurt.
Om de coördinaten te vinden moet je twee jigsaw puzzels oplossen. Eén voor het Noord en één voor het Oost coördinaat.
De puzzels zijn 40 stukjes en het is te doen op de smartphone maar wel met geduld.
