This city park provides access to one of the best fishing spots along the Trinity River. Every year since 1986, the Tarrant Regional Water District and Texas Parks and Wildlife release thousands of trout into the river, providing local residents the opportunity to fish in the urban corridor of Fort Worth. The trout stocking program begins every year in December and continues through the winter, then culminates with TRWD’s Flyfest held in March.
This geocache is a part of the TRWD Trinity Trails Geocaching Adventure which takes you on a journey throughout the entire trail system to discover hidden gems, historically significant locations and some of the most popular spots along the trails.
