Its been 3 years since i hid any puzzles so this is the second of 3 new ones.

The cache is not at the published coordinates, solve the puzzle below to find the coordinates of the cache.

 

Bingley 5-Rise locks

Welcome to the Leeds and Liverpool canal

Go to virtually by using Streetview -  N53 51.455 W001 50.367

Walk east long the towpath to Bingley five rise locks which are one of the seven wonders of the british waterways.

The locks are the steepest flight in the country and allow boats to climb 60ft up the side of the valley to complete the climb up the valley from Leeds and give access to the level pound that runs all the way along the Aire valley to Skipton.

This section was built and opened in 1774.

5-Rise lock Maintenance 100 years ago in 1912

After you have admired the locks carry on along the towpath a few hundred metres to the Bingley three rise locks which were opened on the same day in 1774, have a total rise of 30ft and sit alongside the more recent railway and Bingley bypass.

The railway was opened in by the Leeds and Bradford railway in 1847  - 73 years after the canal and the bypass, which required the canal below the 3 rise locks to be moved opened in 1992 over 218 years after the canal!

By the Lock you will see a blue cabin

on the cabin is a number  - ABCDEFG

use the number to work out the coords for the cache.
