Ein Lavan is a steady spring in the Nahal Refaim National Park in Jerusalem. The spring flows year-round, out of a cave with an arched stone entrance, with Persian Cyclamens (Rakefet in Hebrew) growing over the entrance. Bring flashlights and step into the darkness and knee-high water!
The water flows into 2 pools: one can be used for swimming and the 2nd for kids. The entire area is excellent for picnics, and since it is often used for just that purpose, this is a good cache to practice your cache-in-trash-out.
