Geocache Description:

04 May 2019, 08:30 - 10:30

A Pine Rivers Cruising Yakht Squadron CITO on South Pine River for all the kayakers out there.

Meet at the Car Park and be ready for paddle off at 8:30 am at the Parking area posted co-ords - Bob Bell Park where you can launch your yak. Hopefully we can grab the only picnic table.  There are enough car parking spots for 6 - 7 cars and an additional 5 boat trailer parking bays. Extra parking is on Learmonth St near the WP cordinates.

High tide will be around 9:15 am.

Moreton Shire Council and Clean Up Australia are supplying bags. No gloves have been offered, so please bring your own if you wish.   There are no toilets at Bob Bell Park.

The cleaning area to be covered is a short paddle away and we are targeting the Pine Bow from the entry point of the Bow (S27 18.690 E152 59.992 on the Pine River through to the top part of the Bow (a big loop).  There are some recently published caches in that bow to collect and some other nearby kayak caches to collect as an added incentive.

NOTE - There is no walking access to this part of the river.  All adjacent land (except the Oxbow) is private property.

If are happy for your photo image to be used in the Moreton Bay Council presentations and materials or promotions, let us know on the day. Hope to see you there.
