The Scouts of Troop 145 (St Paul United Methodist Men) undertook the Geocaching Merit Badge in March, 2019. We love our relationship with the Montgomery Museum and Lewis Miller Regional Art Center. Scouts have worked with the museum on the Art merit badge, and Cub Scouts have shared their computerized pinewood derby track to enhance the Cruise-in (antique and modern car show usually in May).
We have built this to be a great first-cache for young explorers. It is available 24/7, but why not visit when the museum is open and see a little about Montgomery County history and art first-hand?
In 2022, the Montgomery Museum moved to the corner of Franklin and 1st Street, but this location remains a garden and public place. Enjoy the solitude, the art and the thrill of your next GeoCache!
