The May Days Menace
Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic (or at least this teacher and her students). The instigation of prom season, athletic tournaments, and graduation has the normal rhythms of student life in disrepair.
Besieged on all sides and with troops near exhaustion, hope is delivered in the form of a smuggled message from the rebel leader, ssiler Princess Leia. One of her Jedi knights has discovered a small oasis just past the ends of the earth - Steffey's Pizza - where our battered fighters can retreat for a much needed break.
Giving up all hope of stopping the general malaise creeping into the classroom, the Supreme Chancellor (that's me) is secretly dispatching this invitation to all the alliance and rebel bases (that's you) to discuss this annual chain of events.
Or not. We can endlessly debate the merits of IvyRest vs Benedryl and recent battles with those dastardly bloodsuckers - ticks. Or we can just eat, drink and be merry. Or just be merry; neither eating nor drinking is required.
