Geocache Description:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The cache is a 700ml container and is an easy find.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

There is a lot of history in this area and it's all close by. The cache is located on public land in Company Rd Greenough and contains a log book, pencil, items to swap and a FTF prize.

Frederick & Fredricka Waldeck, German missionaries with eleven children, were one of the first families to purchase land (202 acres) in the Greenough area. Using locally quarried stone they built their home, Mount Pleasant, around 1860. Being staunch Wesleyan community members the Waldecks often opened their house as a gathering place for regular fellowship meetings prior to Wesley Church opening in 1870. The house has also been used as a Post Office and a base for consulting doctors. In 2010 the building was completely restored and is now used for holiday accommodation.

Please replace carefully.

*** Congratulations to Team Outnabout for the FTF. Neat work. ***
