If you stand at this cache location and turn to face the beach below (west direction) you can see a red roofed, yellow walled lodge in the distance, part way up the hill.
This is the site of the YMCA lodge at Shakespear Park, the location the cache owner and her husband got married here exactly 1 year ago from the date of cache placement.
This is a beautiful area, many nice walks and wildlife to be observed. Interestingly, the field name 'Rangitoto' where the cache is placed doesn't actually show the island of Rangitoto. You have to go back to the top of the hill to see this Island.
