My family was living in Kansas City, KS when my grandfather read in the newspaper about this famous shop in Coeur d'Alene, ID. He and my grandmother made their first trip here in 1972 to visit the shop and began to fall in love with the area. They loved it so much that they ended up visiting 17 more times before finally purchasing a retirement property and settling in. Since then, the family has remained in the area and I'm so thankful for grandpa's inquisitiveness. Ignite your own curiosity and seek out this historic spot.
