The Planets: Mercury
This new series of mystery caches are meant to be easy, fun and teach you about astronomy. The closest planet from the sun, also known as mercury, is a very special planet because it is the smallest, and has no atmosphere. The word "Mercury" is from the romans, who named it after the roman god: Mercury, which they thought to be the same as the God Hermes. The symbol for Mercury is based off Hermes staff. Mercury is also the hottest planet because it is closest to the sun. Note: Cache is not at posted coordinates.
