Geocache Description:

Welcome to beautiful Victory Field, home of the International League baseball team the Indianapolis Indians. The Indians are the "farm team" for the MLB team Pittsburgh Pirates.

Victory Field ("The Vic" to many locals) opened in 1996, and replaced Bush Stadium, which was located a couple of miles North of here on West 16th Street (see GC4W16V). Victory Field has been named one of the best Minor League baseball parks in America.

This cache is meant to be an easy grab, and serve as a landmark for visiting Travel Bugs with missions to visit places like this. (Unfortunately, there is no room here to drop any TBs, but they are welcome to visit.)
