Geocache Description:

The Adulam nature reserve is in the southern Shephelah, between Nehusha and Tzfririm. It is covered with natural woodland, and contains ruins and hiding caves. You can visit the reserve all year round with the entire family.
The reserve extends to rout 38. You can park your car at the Hurbat Midras parking lot. The hiding system at Horbat Midras was arranged for travelers, who may enter them by crawling in. The hills are built of chalk rock covered with a hard Nari crust, which is mostly forested and contains archeological remains from various periods. The park is named after the biblical settlement of Adullam. In the park there are burial caves, columbarium caves, and hiding caves. The park was opened in April 2008 with the main entrance to park on the west, opposite the entrance to Mitzpe Masua.
