7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This is the first cache I've ever placed. Please be kind!

This cache is hidden just off Carrington Street, where Penny Place links up with Seymour Place, behind Carrington Street. There's a row of apartments nearby, as well as a few back-entrances to the buildings along Angas Street. If it's not peak hour, you might be able to quickly park and grab it.

Carrington Street in Adelaide was named after John Abel Smith - who for reasons unknown to me, also went by Lord Carrington. He was a trader, a businessman, and a member of British parliament. Eventually he became a partner in the foundation of a bank. Just a generally well-to-do fellow. There's a street in Wellington, New Zealand that's also more accurately named after him: Abel Smith Street.

Cache is puny - but there might be room for small knick-knacks and items.
