Queens Anne' Lace can be found in most of North America. It can be seen along roadsides and dry fields. In some areas it is considered to be an invasive weed. Flowering from May to October, it is one of my favorites. I love the big lacy white flowers. This plant is related to the carrot, so it's leaves smell carrot-like when crushed. Great project for kids is to stick flowers in food coloring and make a beautiful colored bouquets. Cache is a park n grab. There is room for small trinkets. Happy caching!
