Corriganville Park and surrounding area trails are a wonderful place to hike, bike & Geocache. We were lucky to have found this tiny little space in between caches to place this one along the trail.
Depending on how you access this cache, on foot or bicycle you will have to park either (to the west) off Smith Rd. at the Corriganville parking area or (to the south east) off Santa Susanna Pass Rd. at Lilac Ln. (if you're attempting from the "Stagecoach - Side Action" bike trail. Be advised this trail is used by mountain bikers so be careful they might be flying down the path and always be mindful of the critters that call this area home.
The cache is camoed Decon container hanging and blends in really well. Please close the lid securely and place back as found.
There is Poison Oak in the area so be cautious of it. We spotted some 30' or so south of the trail, but we did not see any around GZ when cache was placed.
This has a great view of the trains when they pass thru the tunnel, but please do not play anywhere near the tracks, also while you're there you may like to checkout the stone labyrinth maze at N 34° 15.941 W 118° 38.883 about 40' East.
