A lakeside park, complete with shelter, barbecue area and deck, was officially opened in memory of Hunter Alfred Stratton in Meningie on Friday aug 31st 2018
Hunter’s father Jarrod Stratton spoke of his son, who passed away three years ago, and how he fought for his life everyday with bravery and courage and continued to inspire his family.
History: “Hunter was a fourth generation member of the family to enjoy the Coorong and Meningie area,” Mr Stratton said. Mr Stratton commended the community of Meningie for their continued support for the park. “It is a fantastic scene and setting. Thank you for keeping it a beautiful place.
