Geocache Description:

At this cache you will be locating the 1901 Southern Pacific Railroad Depot (south of the coordinates, red building) .which is part of Decker Park The depot also is on the Union Pacific Railroad (formerly Southern Pacific)tracks. Other buildings that are nearby in this park is the McNabb House, which was constructed in the 1850s and was home to Carry Nation’s daughter; and a log cabin similar to those of the county’s earliest settlers. Across the street from Decker Park is the 1896 County Jail, a magnificent structure of Richardsonian Romanesque style architecture. The building was used until 1955 and contains living quarters used by the sheriff and his family. The jail has been refurbished and is now the center for the Police Station for this city.
