Gostyń. Śladami historii... #03 Traditional Cache

Nie zawsze na przestrzeni wieków siedzibą władz miejskich Gostynia był ratusz. Istniał w średniowieczu, był też w XVII i XVIII wieku. Od końca XVIII do połowy XIX stulecia nie było budynku pełniącego taką funkcję. Obecny ratusz powstał w latach 1910 - 1912 z połączenia dwóch budynków - dotychczasowej siedziby burmistrza i rady miejskiej oraz gmachu sądu. Autorem projektu był Lucjan Michałowski.

The City Hall was not always the headquarters of de municipal authiorities of Gostyń. A City Hall existed in de Middle Ages and in de 17 and 18 centuries. From de late eigheenth to mid - nineteenth century, there was no building serving such a purpose. The current City Hall was created in de years 1910 - 1912 by merging two building - the seat of de mayor and city council and the courthouse. It was designed by an architect Lucjan Michałowski.
