This cache is part of the 2019 FUN Geocoin Challenge. Everyone knows you need a passport to have FUN. Be sure to download and print your FUN Passport (and find other helpful resources) at FUN Geocoin Challenge and get started today!


On the hill above sits the mansion of Dr. Spokanstein. He is best known for his creation of the Geocacher. Back in 1302, Dr. Spokanstein took the nose of a bloodhound and the eyes of an eagle to produce a Geocacher. However, after finding out the eagle was protected, he had to substitute using a chicken. That explains a lot doesn't it. The creative doctor then added the legs of a mountain goat and the arms of an orangutan. Hoping for a melodic voiced creation, Dr. Spokanstein attempted to add the voice of a meadowlark. Unfortunately, the bird flew out at the same time a frog jumped in. When it came to stealth, the good doctor told his assistant to turn the panther loose. The half deaf assistant thought he said add the bull moose! Even after hundreds of attempts, Dr. Spokanstein never invented the perfect Geocacher. If you watch one for a while you will be able to figure out which other animals might have been included in the DNA mix!


This cache is part of the 2019 Fantastic Unbelievable Nonsense Geocoin Challenge where everything is made up and the points don't matter. If it's been FUN, it probably happened in Spokane. Like that time they were filming a scene from ET in Spokane and Old Lady Johnson's dog (which looked exactly like ET) escaped the yard....
