Geocache Description:

Head over to Pickerington Ponds Metro Park to find this cache nestled in a State Nature Preserve. Park in the Ellis Pond parking lot to access the Meadowlark Trail. This flat, grass trail is sometimes wet due to the park’s many wetland features, so be prepared. Since the cache is located in our Nature Preserve, you will not need to go more than a few feet from the trail to find it. The trail is a loop so you can continue on the path to get a different view on your way back to the car. Please no dogs or bikes. Be sure to check out the other 20 other caches that are a part of this year’s Metro Parks GeoTrail!

To participate in the Metro Park GeoTrail go to 2019 Columbus Metro Parks GeoTrail to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches, fill in the code word on the GeoTrail page. The first 100 teams to return their forms are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin. You will need all 20 code words to complete the puzzle and unlock the coordinates to the Bonus Puzzle Cache. Mark your calendar for the GeoTrail Celebration on October 12th.
