I have lived in the Highlands for 22 years now (and am still considered a new resident) and for some time after I moved here I made the newbie mistake of saying I live off Munns road.
I soon learned it's actually Munn road, not Munns road. I don't know the history behind the name of the road, but imagine it's named after a local family.
I used to drive (OK rat race) this road in my Rabbit GTI in my late teens. I now shake my fist at those young kids that do the same thing and disturb my quiet Sunday afternoons.
I love the Highlands and am blessed to live here with my amazing wife.
Just remember though, It's Munn, not Munns!
