A short walk from the all resorts on Paradise Island
The Cloisters offer a wonderful sense of refreshing calm away from the crowded beaches, hotels, and casinos. The peaceful garden and gazebo overlooking the ocean remind visitors of the truly important things in life. Originally constructed by Augustinian monks in France, the stones were bought and shipped to the United States. From there, the stones were purchased by the developer of Hog Island (now known as Paradise Island) and reassembled on its present site. The Cloisters are a popular site for ecotourism and couples looking to get married.
The cache has been placed with the permission of the property owner- however they ask that you refrain from disrupting any events that may be taking place. You’re looking for a small black film canister that only has enough room for a log. Please be mindful of your surroundings when searching for this cache- muggles will not usually be a problem but do be respectful of the grounds. Cache from dawn to dusk only please. When opening the container, I find it easiest to use your thumb to ‘slide’ off the top (will hopefully make sense when you find the cache). When replacing, please be sure to close the lid until it ‘snaps’ shut. Also be sure to replace exactly as you found it. The log will probably get wet, so it would be amazing if someone would replace it on occasion. Thanks so much and enjoy your stay in the Bahamas!
