Geocache Description:

After being introduced to Geocaching during a trip to Old Salem, NC, the Junior level Gisl Scouts from Troop 1061 were hooked!

They decided they would like to earn their Girl Scout Bronze Award placing geocaches around their community. This project has two objectives: 1. Teach others about their community ans 2. Introduce familied in the community to Geocaching. The girls went before the Locust City Council and received permission to place caches throughout the city. They have also received permission from the appropiate authority for each cache locatioon.

This geocache is located at the local fire department. Parking is available DO NOT park in front of the large doors on the front and back side of the building!
