I am a firm believer that every significant Peak should have a Peak Log and in our case a Geocache. Over the years I have been to many mountain tops and it seems that this is a place where Peak baggers and Geocachers don’t mind sharing. There a many caches across the mountain tops that have had a few avid Geocachers sign their logs, but what always surprises me is how many hikers come across them and can’t resist writing their name and leaving a story.
Long story short. There used to be a Frary Peak Cache up here, but I noticed it was no longer on the map. I am guessing it is gone because of its location. It was an old one, but unfortunately it was probably a bit further off trail than is allowed. I am hoping to bring it back. Please use the Peak Log to mark your find and sign you Cache name. Next time I make a trip up I will added a Geocaching Log book.
There are so many place to visit on the Island and this is my favorite.
