Tomioka Silk Mill was established in 1872 by the Meiji government for the modernization of Japan.
There were twists and turns, but it has been in operation until 1987, and the facilities have remained almost unchanged until now.
富岡製糸場は、1872年に明治政府が日本の近代化のために設立した製糸場です。
紆余曲折ありましたが1987年まで操業されており、施設は現在までほぼ変わらぬ姿で残されています。
The cache was set up outside the facility.
It is under construction at the time of installation, but if construction is over you will be able to see a brick warehouse.
キャッシュは施設外に設置しました。
設置時は工事中ですが工事が終わればレンガ造りの倉庫を見ることができるでしょう。
レンガをよく観察するとレンガを焼いた窯元の名前が刻まれているのが見られますよ。
