A small clip box hidden close to Swanage's Parish Church. St Mary's was originally a chapel of ease for the neighbouring parish of Worth Matrever's but became a parish in its own right in 1487. It has been rebuilt on 4 occasions, the last in 1859/60. It has traditional Purbeck stone and parts of the tower have survived the rebuilds, dating back to Saxon times.
Today the church is used for the popular town Christmas carol service, annual Remembrance day service and serves as a community focus during difficult times.
Please use the cache for small swaps and tb's but do replace carefully using the rockoflauge
Small fluffies left for any mini cachers who may be the firsts to find!
