Ian Mann Park is named in honour of a local business man, alderman, musician and the first secretary of the Goldfield Ashes committee.
The park is near the main roads junction of the Flinders Highway (east-west), which becomes George Ellis Drive (into town and north) and New Queen Road (bypass heading east-west and south).
The cache Picture Show Man by Cragged was located near here and had 182 finds between 2010 and 2018. It was the 7th cache we found when we started in 2011.
The new cache is slightly larger than the original and lurking in a tree. At the time of placing it contained a nano container (FTF - polly5321), dice, log and pencil.
