The canal is now one of Malmös nicer features. Especially on sunny days a boat tour can be very nice.

This is the starting point for the guided tours of Malmö by boat. It just a few feet away from the railway station and it can be quite relaxing to sit on a bench at the canal and watch people pass by.
Odd fact: The 1993 Beck movie starts of with a murder at Hotel Savoy. It is the hotel at the far corner across the street. It is based on Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö book 'Murder at the Savoy'.
