About Goulburn Station
The heritage listed Goulburn railway station is on the mainline from Sydney to Griffith, Melbourne and Canberra. It was also the base for the closed branch lines to Cooma, Taralga and Crookwell.
The Honor Roll attests to the large number of employees that once worked on the Goulburn Railway and who would have lived in the 3 heritage residences and barracks.
The station has 3 platforms - the main station building (Platform 1) on Sloane Street plus an island platform with 2 faces (Platforms 2 & 3) which is accessed pedestrian bridges at each end of the platforms.

A - From the information sign outside the station - the number of the month that the railway was officially opened
BC - The date on the aboriginal acknowledgement plaque in the waiting room - BC / 07 / 1997
D - concrete suitcase outside station with 6 letter word. Number of first letter where A = 1, B= 2, etc
E - The number of white heritage light poles at the southern end of Platform 1.
F - The 1914-19 Honor Roll on Platform 1 was unveiled on July 3F 1919.
Access to the cache is available by using the pedestrian bridge over the railway line or driving around to the railway worksheds.
