Výhľad na Vloklínec
Vlkolínec, živá obec pamiatkovej rezervácie ľudovej architektúry je dobre známa nielen na Slovensku. Je zapísaná od roku 1993 do svetového dedičstva UNESCO. Predstavuje najzachovalejší a najucelenejší urbanistický celok pôvodných ľudových stavieb v strednej Európe. Je stále živou obcou o čom svedčí, že takmer polovica domov je stále obývaná. Je výnimočný predovšetkým zrubovou architektúrou vrchárskeho typu a typické sú preň dlhé otvorené dvory ústiace do terasovitých políčok. Vďaka periférnej polohe zostal zachovaný nielen historický charakter sídla Vlkolínec a okolitej prírody, ale aj vonkajší vzhľad objektov. K najvzácnejším stavbám patrí zrubová zvonica, zrubová rumpálová studňa a kostol Navštívenia Panny Márie.
Pozývame vás na krátku, možno 15 minútovú prechádzku na protiľahlý kopec Horný diel. Dostanete sa tam jednoducho, pri detskom ihrisku odbočíte na lúku a po ceste po nej rovno hore. Prídete ku seníku odkiaľ je krásny výhľad na samotný Vlkolínec ako aj nad ním sa týčiace Sidorovo. Ďalej môžete za dobrého počasia vidieť Nízke Tatry, Chočské vrchy, ba aj Západné Tatry s dominantným Barancom.
Vlkolínec, a lively community of folk architecture is well known not only in Slovakia. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. It represents the best preserved and most comprehensive urban complex of original folk buildings in Central Europe. It is still a living community, as evidenced by the fact that almost half of the houses are still inhabited. It is especially exceptional for its log-like architecture of the hill-type and is characterized by long open courtyards leading into terraced fields. Thanks to its peripheral position, not only the historical character of the Vlkolínec estate and the surrounding nature has been preserved, but also the exterior appearance of the buildings. The most precious buildings include a log bell, a log cabin well and the Church.
We invite you for a short, maybe 15-minute walk to the opposite hill Horny diel. You can get there easily, turn to the meadow by the playground and straight up the road. You will come to the hayloft from where there is a beautiful view of the Vlkolínec itself as well as the Sidorovo. Furthermore, you can see the Low Tatras, Choč Mountains, and even the Western Tatras with the dominant Baranec in good weather.
