Fochy Burn or Back Burn runs through and under the village of Milnathort. The name Milnathort comes from the Gaelic maol coirthe meaning "bare hill of the standing stones". The village has a 9 hole golf course, and you can also visit the interesting Burleigh Castle, join the path for the Loch Leven Heritage Trail, and have an excellent ice cream.
The Burn itself has in the past been known to flood causing damage to local properties. You can see kingfishers from the cache point and other birds.
The cache is magnetic.
