This Geocache is number 1 of a series of 9 that takes you through rosier woods, If you do this collection in order as a circular then you are looking at roughly a 2.5 mile walk on fairly flat ground. When the weather is wet the ground can get quite muddy in places. There is limited on road parking around the woods but please be careful as this is subject to different time exclusions. All Caches along this route follow well-worn paths and you shouldn't need to deviate far however if you are using the official Geocaching app the Trails highlighted are wrong and do not lead where the app tells you!
Rosier woods is a very picturesque small woodland with a fantastic amount of bluebells during the spring months. As you enter the woodland from marringdean road you are not permitted to cross over the fences as this is private property, but do not despair as this path soon widens out. Like the Tardis these woods appear much larger on the inside. The cache is a 30ml pot hidden at 4ft off the ground. Please bring your own pencil / pen to sign log. This is a great walk for dogs and small children
