Again it is time to meet other geocachers on Islay...
I'm happy to return to the beautiful island of Islay for one week of holidays and would like to celebrate this with a meet and greet with local and non-local cachers again. This year let us meet for a wee chat in front of Ardbeg distillery between 12:00 and 12:30. Most probably I will join the Ardbeg cafe afterwards to have a wee lunch - so there is plenty more of time to chat and share some cachers stories from Scotlnd, Germany or anywhere else if you like this.
You can use the distilleries vistor parking, join us by public transport (please check the timetable...) or have a nice walk from Port Ellen. We can swap TB, discuss geocaching on the Hebrides or try to arrange walks or trips to the few more remotely locations on Islay (Grim Grotto, Beinn Uraraidh) or Texa.
There is a bench near the signpost to Supernova. There you will find a german tourist who looks like a geocacher and whisky enthusiast.
In the next weeks I will create a nice banner for this event to provide you an everlasting souvenir
