Wickiup North Trail Series

This is the 1st cache in a series of 10 caches that will take up through the trails and woods of the North section of Wickiup Park.

Wickiup Hill Natural Area is located along the Cedar River northwest of Cedar Rapids and is part of the Cedar River Greenbelt. The Wickiup Hill Outdoor Learning Area is being developed on 240 acres of this 563-acre area. The Outdoor Learning Area is closed to hunting. The rest of Wickiup Hill is open to hunting. The Friends of the Linn County Conservation Board are raising money to complete the educational facilities and expand the Outdoor Learning Area. Wickiup Hill features both upland and bottomland timber and is excellent wildlife habitat.
