Geocache Description:

enlightened You MUST have a pen or pencil to access this cache.

With big skies, extensive reedbeds and booming bitterns. Come and see how the RSPB has transformed former carrot fields into a magical wetland home for kingfishers, cranes, otters and watervoles. Our visitor centre has everything you need to find out more about the reserve and its wildlife.
Read more at the RPSB Website

This cache is located along the east wood trail. Treecreepers and tawny owls live here! At the western edge of the wood, you will reach New Fen North, the first area of reedbed. This is the best place on the reserve to see otters. You may even see bearded tits using the grit tray in front of the viewpoint in the autumn.

Please note:

  • Dogs:
    • Registered assistance dogs welcome.
    • Other dogs are allowed on the public footpath along riverbank only.
  • Opening times:

At the coordinates listed you will find the cache hiding in the roof space of the viewpoint!
