A pilisjászfalui kálváriának nem szokványos a története. A településtől többen, már régóta rendszeresen járták ezt a stációk nélküli „kálvária útvonalat” és tervezték, hogy egyszer ide kálváriát építenek. Az út végén egy kereszt pár évvel ezelőtt el is készült, adományokból talán a stációsor fele is elkészülhetett volna már, amikor e kálváriajárók egyik tagja, Manninger Gábor a Szövetség Pilisjászfaluért Egyesület elnöke autóbalesetben elhunyt. Barátai, tisztelői az ő emlékére összefogva, adományaikból létrehozták ezt a kálváriát, melynek rajzait Simon András készítette, a kifaragója pedig Ambrus Aladár volt.

The history of the pilgrimage in Pilisjászfalu is not ordinary. Several people from the village have long been to this "Calvary Route without Stations" and have planned to build a Calvary one day. At the end of the road, a cross had been made a few years ago, and perhaps with half of the donations it could have been made, when sadly enough a member of these Calvary passages, Gábor Manninger, president of the Association for the Pilisjászfalu Association, died in a car accident. His friends and admirers, united in his memory, created this calvary from their donations, the drawings were made by András Simon, and the sculptor Aladar Ambrus.
