The church opened 1869 and has been serving the community of Ravenhead in various ways ever since.
A Memorial Hall was added in the 1920s and further development resulted in the building of St. John's Community Centre, which opened 2004.
Parking available on the church car park (signposted) or in the side streets off Crossley Road eg Alexandra Street but Crossley Road is extremely busy and parking there is better avoided.
