Roegner Park is a community park located along the banks of rhe White River, adjacent to Auburn Riverside High School. A trail system includes both hard and soft-surface sections to meet the needs of many different users. There is a lovely commissioned artwork for the Park, "Every Year the Salmon Return," with a uniquely designed bench with a salmon motif, placed to allow views of the river. This park includes a Picnic Shelter (available for rental), restroom, play structure, trails, Off-Leash Dog Area, and lovely views of the White River. This park was dedicated in 1994, and named for former Councilmember and Mayor Bob Roegner. If you have time, there are quite a number of other caches in this park along the trail, stretching from one end to the other. As a matter of fact, the Auburn 2017: Every Year the Salmon Return (GC7CG5G) is located very near that artwork. If you haven't already found it, you can check it out as you stroll to or from this cache location.
